AFTER ARRIVING AT CAMP

Set-up (with Hook-up):

q     Level RV – width (using blocks under wheels)

q     Chock wheel(s)

q     Disconnect hitch & cable from tow vehicle

q     Level RV – length

q     Turn on LP at Tank(s)

q     Open awning and window awnings

q     Check AC service

q     Connect to AC

q     Switch refrigerator to AC

q     Connect to water supply via pressure reducer and water filter

Set-up (without Hook-up):

q     Turn refrigerator OFF (save 12V battery!!)

q     Level RV – width (using blocks under wheels)

q     Chock wheel(s)

q     Disconnect hitch & cable from tow vehicle

q     Level RV – length

q     Turn on LP at tank(s)

q     Open awning and window awnings

q     Refrigerator to LP, turn on gas valve and light (access from the outside)

q     Turn on water pump

q     Check “hot” water flow, THEN: Light water heater (access from the outside)

q     Open sink drain cap and install drain hose if you don’t have holding tanks

Take-down (with Hook-up):

q     Turn off the water supply at spigot and release pressure in hose

q     Disconnect hose, pressure reducer and water filter and cap “city” water inlet

q     Drain and store the hose, pressure reducer and water filter

q     Close waste valve, disconnect and store sewer hose

q     Disconnect AC and store AC power cord

Take-down (without Hook-up):

q     Turn off water pump

q     Turn off inside lights

q     Turn off furnace at thermostat

q     Turn off LP at refrigerator & water heater (access from the outside)

q     Crank down Roof vents & antenna

q     Turn off LP at tank(s)

q     Cap sink drain – outside

q     Levelers up and “locked”

q     Check air in tires (50#)

 

 

LEAVEING CAMP

q     Hitch tow vehicle to RV

q     Check RV brake fluid level

q     Connect power/light cable form tow vehicle to RV

q     Check RV running lights, Brake lights, turn signals, Chains & Locks

q     Switch refrigerator to DC

q     Store wheel chock

q     Running lights ON

q     Empty grey and black water tanks at a disposal station
